Theology of the Car Stereo

I was at adoration tonight, and there was "Life Teen" going on at the church. When I was finished, I heard a car "slammin'" its system. At first thought, I thought, "would you just shut up?" Then, I thought about it: car stereo system would attract many teens, so why not have it be a part of an outreach ministry?

Well, then the kicker: how will it tie in? Then, the revelation came to me:

The Receiver, aka "The Father"

The signal comes from the receiver. It is the creator of the signal, just like "The Father" is The Creator.

The Amp, aka "The Son, Jesus Christ"

The signal won't go out (or at least won't be able to be heard) with out the amp. The amp is what powers the speakers. It takes the message of the receiver and is sent to the speakers. The amp brings home the message. The amp is what is how the signal is heard. Jesus came into the world to be a light to the world, and His life spread the Gospel message.

The Speakers, aka "The Holy Spirit"

The speakers can be positioned anywhere. The speakers is what delivers the message. There would be no sound with no speakers. The message of the Gospel would not be heard without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is what speaks through us, gives us faith, and reminds us of such favorite scriptures as "God is Love."

Okay, that's a quick overview of what was going on in my head as I was driving home. Take care and God Bless.
