Luke 21:1-4

When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury and he noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins. He said, "I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood."

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is for K. K. George.

"Love proves itself by deeds, so how am I to show my love? Great deeds are forbidden me. The only way I can prove my love is by scattering flowers and these flowers are every little sacrifice, every glance and word, and the doing of the least actions for love." - St. Therese of Lisieux

When I do these readings, I know that I don't have much in terms of qualifications. I'm just a regular guy with no theology study.

It all started, though, when I wanted a friend to find out about how great our faith is, so I would pick readings and explain how it related to my life through what I understood from the readings.

Beyond that desire, though, it was just an act of love. He took this little act of love and used it, despite my own poverty.

Take care and God Bless.
