Luke 19:45-48

Jesus entered the temple area and proceeded to drive out those who were selling things, saying to them, "It is written, My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves." And every day he was teaching in the temple area. The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people, meanwhile, were seeking to put him to death, but they could find no way to accomplish their purpose because all the people were hanging on his words.

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is for the repose of the souls of "Diosdado, Manuel, Roman, Anastacia, Miguela, Cipriano, Helen, Inocentes, Hospicio, Cecilio Leoncio, Sr., Celirina, Ma. Dioscoro, Leoncio, Jr., Vicente, Eduardo, Joy, Grace, Nestor, Cletus, Beato, Elaine, Ma.Teresa, Petronila, and Charles."

Think of all the good things that God has given us that has been "twisted" so that it takes us away from Our Lord.

One subject that is close to me is music. There is a lot of great music that has been written that offers praise and glory to Our Lord. Unfortunately, a lot of music I hear today does not have that purpose.

Just as a house of prayer can be made into a den of thieves, so too can we twist something that is made to bring us closer to Him. Let us be aware so that we may be steadfast in our faith. Take care and God Bless.
