Matthew 18:1-5, 10

The disciples approached Jesus and said, "Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?" He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said, "Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.

"See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father."

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is in thanksgiving for the CRYS retreat this past weekend that was filled with The Holy Spirit!

Today in The Church is the Memorial of The Guardian Angels.

How much does God love us? We can look at the physical world that we live in and there are many instances to appreciate God's goodness. We can look at the people that make up The Body of Christ and we can know God's goodness through them.

What about the things that are unseen? We have angels that we can call upon to aid us in our journey to heaven. In today's reading, Jesus reminds us of the importance of each soul. Human life is so precious that The Father has sent us a guardian angel to protect us.

God wants to be with us. He gives us angels to protect us. He gives us fellow Christians to support us and for us to serve. He died for us. There is no shortage of how far God will go to be with us. So, in all blessings that God showers upon us, let us be confident in His love in the storms of our lives and thankful for the blessings. Take care and God Bless.
