Luke 19:41-44

As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, "If this day you only knew what makes for peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes. For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides. They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation."

Dawg's thought:

Today's prayer intention is for the repose of the souls of the following: Ed Tenorio, Mark Bill, Cyndi Tolosa, Rolly Llamanzares, Galvyn Sagario and Giselle Sagario.

If there is one thing that is lacking in my life right now on the outside, it's peace. Lately I have been extremely busy with so many things that I haven't even had time to dedicate to sending these readings out.

With so many things going on around me and around the world, it is comforting to be able to turn to Christ in prayer and to have the faith to trust in Him. He is what Who we know that makes for peace. Even as it seems that our financial situations are being "torn down" ... even as it seems that the dignity of life is under even more attack ... even as it seems that we are being challenged in our faith in a unique way ... we know and have faith that Christ is our Prince of Peace.

Lord, be not hidden from my eyes,
but rather, let me have the eyes of faith
to see You, my Prince of Peace,
in this time of great uncertainty.

Take care and God Bless.
